This concept is BRILLIANT. Star Wars Uncut is a crazy fan mashup remake of the original Star Wars movies. Nearly a thousand fans (ie: hardcore geeks) have submitted their home made scenes, each 15 second clip is stitched together to form the movie remake in full length.

They’re now working on The Empire Strikes Back too, with a few more scenes still up for grabs if you’re that way inclined.
