I wasn’t planning on attending this year’s 100mm event given the fact that it was; A. In Melbourne and I live in Sydney, B. Rego for my skyline was due and I desperately needed new tyres, and C. I was supposed to be working… But lately a good friend of mine from RWB has continuously reminded me that life is too short, so without giving it any second thoughts, I booked a solo ticket to Melbourne for the weekend.2 2-1
Needless to say, it was money well spent! The selection of cars on display at 100mm was impressive!

I even got to have two of my new Stay Driven stickers on the RWB Australia Porsche which won best of show!3-1
The ultimate vision of 100mm is to engage as many diverse sub-car cultures as possible with an attempt to unite them in an effort to educate and encourage positive appreciation to different genres of car modifying that may not be common to the appeal of each individual.2436
100mm aims not only to reduce these differences, but to also provide education regarding the impact of negativity and divides between car enthusiasts including the imagery perceived from the wider society. Unification was definitely achieved at this event!4
There was a nice mix of skylines on display – old and new.

Whilst the event was on I squeezed some exploring in through the CBD where I happened to spot the new Lamborghini LP750-4 SV Aventador hunting past Federation Square. Probably one of the biggest highlights from my trip! It was the first time I had ever seen my dream car in person, so you could imagine my reaction when I spotted it!

Back at the event there was another SV Aventador along with various other exotics.8-28-3 8-48-6 9

I was definitely impressed with the overall atmosphere and diverse range of cars on display. I’ll be back next year for sure! Oh and make sure you check out Alex’s coverage here.

After the event, I snapped some more shots of Oliver’s S13 which won best engine and also got nominated for best of show, up against the RWB Porsche and the Carbon Plus GTR!
