    My dear Fiat lovers, I was one of the last AFST (Association of Fiat Service Technicians) members in the United States. I restored one of these! Engine, transmission, body, interior. Good thing about 850’s is the rear wants to be in front during stupid maneuvers, meaning there were plenty of parts out there at one point for a young poor guy to choose from. I’m no longer young, gov is working on the poor thing.

    Dear FIAT ABARTH lovers, what a bad fake. Abarth has produced his 1000 OT Spider only from the first series of the Fiat 850 Spider (65-67), with the flat headlamps similar to the Lambo Miura ! All stickers and badges are wrong or from a later period. “1050 – 75HP” is an ohc-engine from the Fiat 127. In this motor compartment is working an Autobianchi A112 ohv-engine. The covering of the rear panel is made from a radiator cover. Carlo Abarth was a esthet, his panel were made in a convex shape with 43 slots, and not 37 ! Best ABARTH-greeetings from Europe
