The Holden Racing Team has unveiled the V8 Commodore that Garth Tander will be taking to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 this October.
A unique Star Wars: The Force Awakens design is a result of the recently announced collaboration between Holden and the Walt Disney Company.
One side of the Commodore will feature new baddie Kylo Ren while the driver’s side displays a First Order Stormtrooper.
“Star Wars is the greatest movie franchise in history, so I know there will be a lot of interest around our livery from not only our loyal Holden V8 fans, but Star Wars fans globally,” three-time champ Tander commented enthusiastically. “HRT is the most successful team ever at Mt Panorama and to carry the iconic film franchise on the car is extra incentive to add another Bathurst win to my tally. This is one battle I want the dark side to win.”
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is out December 17 and the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 is on October 8-11.
