Those in the know know about Anthony’s tough R34 GT-R. Nicknamed the “Elephant” (in relation to it’s porky 1800kg weight, surely a term of endearment!).
Whilst the “Elephant” has already proven itself at Powercruise, the guys at Powertune are currently busy taking it to the next level, and we’ve been invited to cover the build first hand.
‘The Elephant’ will be getting a complete respray in pearl white and a more “refined” RB28 than the last (which has since been sold). The new engine may see upwards of 60psi, a transmission and turbo upgrade are on the cards too and there’s even talk of nitrous. Ultimately, the aim is to make the car faster at the track, yet still retain street drivability.
