A couple of weeks ago David Dalrymple’s BNR32 hit Sydney Dragway. It’s a track car, but we thought it would do 10’s.

Unfortunately it rained out.

Last Wednesday night Dave, a couple of his mates (Chris and Steve) and Photographer Patrick Stannard hit Sydney Dragway again and this time the rain stayed away!

Truth is Dave knew he was going to get 10’s, but started to have his doubts when his street tyres weren’t up to scratch on the 1st run. The aim was to hit 10’s before the sun went down, but the last run at night was when he hit a 10 second pass after dropping tyre pressures to 23psi at the rear and 24psi at the front.

Steve was driving his Lexus LS430 daily driver (having fun in full luxury). He did low 15’s. Chris brought his super clean FD and did consistent mid 13’s and on his last run he ran a 13.0, which made him want to chase 12s! Not bad for a stock car.

Enjoy these awesome photos by Patrick Stannard. We’ll let the images do the talking!

First up, some group shots of Dave’s GT-R, Chris’ FD and Steve’s LS430.
