What’s your ideal mid-life crisis car? For me, it has to be European, two seats, and have it’s engine planted behind the seats. While a Lamborghini Miura or a Ferrari F40 would be nice, I don’t think either of those will be realistically attainable, except for maybe in die-cast format (or if I take up bank robbing as a hobby). Looking further down my list, the Lotus Europa has always been a car I’ve loved, there’s just something about the shape that grabs me. Someone who obviously shares my views is Serge, a Belgian dental student who is embarking a full restoration on his own Europa.
