We’re almost ready to go racing! After a busy start to the week when the crew were in Melbourne at the Adrenalin RE003 launch, as soon as we landed we got straight back to putting the final touches on the Jonnesway Tools Pulsar. Catch up on our last two progress updates here and here respectively.

Rolling some sticky! Wheels and tyres came back for the Pulsar and we are running Hankook Ventus RS3 control tyres on SSW Challenge wheels in a 15-inch size.

Cage from AGI Engineering is in and it fits like a dream! Great rigidity improvement as well as peace of mind in safety.

The biggest visual addition so far – the livery! We have the Jonnesway Tools and Xforce logos on the car. Represent! The Pulsar now looks the part, can’t wait to see this whizzing around the track!

We also gave the car a good clean on the outside and gave it a good polish with Autoglym Radiant Wax Polish, making such a huge difference to the aging exterior.

Clutch from Clutch Industries also went in with the refeshed gearbox, great bite and it will be ready for the harsh conditions ahead in its future life of racing!

Motul for the gearbox.

The Xforce Varex muffler sounds so good and gives the car better breathing on the exit path!

Everything is back in and the car will spend its final preparation at Heasmans Steering getting not only the suspension set up for the big day, but also getting the seat rails fabricated! In the next installment, we’ll shake the car down thoroughly and let you know how we go in the debut round!
