A few months back Photographer extraordinaire Ved from Selectnine asked me if I’d design the graphics for his new VW Caddy. Zen loves Ved. I love Ved, and his work, so of-course I said yes!
Like all good things. I had to let it stew for some time before actually getting on the computer and punching out some designs, once I’d had enough of the various ideas floating around in my forebrain (it gets to a point where you just have to stop thinking and start doing) I spent a day at Ved’s place, in front of the Caddy with my laptop and the initial designs came out strong (see initial concepts below).
Happy to say that we’re there on the Selectnine Caddy which now features a swappable photograph print on the rear window (because a picture is worth a thousand words!) Like most of my design work, less is more, subtle, strong, I’m happy, Ved’s happy. Perfecto!
