The humble Volkswagen Golf, the chosen mode of transport for many people all around the world for the past 40 years, but to people like us it’s a perfect blank canvas to customise. Most of us love a tuned MKIV GTI, MKV R32, or MK6 R, but it’s the older ones that get my juices flowing, namely the very first model. Whether it’s a 4-door, 2-door, or Caddy (ute), I just can’t get enough of MK1 Golf (or Rabbit, as they’re known in the US) builds and build threads. This one starts out as a tidy example before being improved even further by it’s owner, one area at a time, including a full body wrap, air suspension, and some tasty re-built Epsilon meshies.
