The sun was out for yesterday’s VWGolf.net.au DIY Day out at Blum HQ Hoxton Park Sydney. Thanks to Marco, the forum members were treated to an amazing outdoor venue. Massive in scale, the huge awning saw everyone working under shade. For those busy working on their cars there was plenty of tools, knowledge and help on hand, for those just enjoying the day there were cold beers, a tasty BBQ, chilled out Sunday tunes and even a blackjack table!

DIY modifications on the day included intake installations, suspension height adjustment, various electric modifications, vagcom editing and much more.

Blum HQ.

The outdoor hangar was awesome to work in, a nice gentle breeze blowing through it all day.

Blum make insane mechanised hinges, the warehouse and showroom inside the building were mind-blowing.

VWG member Miles organised and ran the entire day. He had awesome chilled out Sunday tunes pumping all day too.

The Blum warehouse.

Shot from within the warehouse.

Jason’s MKV GTI.

Alan’s RNS upgrade.

All sorts of DIY stuff was done on the day, some mild, some a little more wild!

APR intake installed in Mark’s car.

Hacking the Matrix. Cam was the VAGCOM man unlocking features on many golfs on the day.

BBQ was so tasy I had to go for seconds.

RPRSNT.

Blackjack, cause that’s how we roll.
