It’s been a while since we had a Zen Garage update, so here it is!
SHOP: We’re still stockless, but the good news is that stock isn’t too far away, and will be in before Christmas time. We might even run a pre-order on some goods (Fatlace x G-Shock watches anyone?!) we’ll see. We’ve also got some shop fitout stuff coming end of this week. Glass display cabinets, counters, a clothing rack and more (anyone want to help us make all the flat pack stuff?!).
SPACE: The past week’s up and down weather has been a great test for the space. On cold days the office is crazy cold. On hot days the office is crazy hot! We’re looking into AC at the moment, not for the warehouse, just for the office. Yesterday afternoons hardcore storm was a great leak test. We’ve pin pointed 3 or so large leaks, but the wind was so strong it was literally drizzling in the entire space. That means we’re most likely going to have to cover up stock each and every day before lock-up.
FD & DEATHTRAP PROJECTS: We’re still waiting on a suspension package for the FD. Deathtrap has run into some hardcore snags. Being a road bike frame nothing fits (engine kit works well with wider mountain bike frames). Exhaust will need some bending (anyone have a bench with a vice?) and also the rear cog needs some nasty dremel action to get the chainline right.

We’re pretty close to coming up with a set menu @ Zen Garage. So far we’ve got: Oporto Mondays, Sushi Wednesdays and Fish & Chip Fridays downpat.
