The ‘All Japanese Day’ was back for 2012 and this is one event that just keeps getting bigger and better.

Held on Sunday June 17th at Earnshaw State College in Banyo Brisbane, the show attracted over 200 Japanese cars, trucks and bikes with three trophies up for grabs by peoples choice.

This is my 3rd time attending this event and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Sunday. Cars start to set up from 7am and a crowd of spectators and enthusiasts spend the morning admiring the displays.

The meet incorporates a swap meet atmosphere and has a strong love for all things Japanese; and that really shows through in all the attending fans.

Clubs such as High Rollers which consists of cars all pushing out over 500hp were on display, as well as the Zed Car Club with a range of old school models through to the new 370z on show.

It’s great to see the regulars that turn up for the day and you can appreciate what they have done to their cars in the past year.

I love seeing the older generation fanatics with their GTRs and old school zeds parked up; they have so much wisdom when it comes to modifying proving for a great conversation.

This event really brings out the true meaning of a Japanese car enthusiast.
