I was watching American Psycho for the billionth time the other night, amazing how I always pick up something new when watching it. This time around I had a sudden urge to own one of the 2 massive artworks hanging on the walls of Patrick Bateman’s apartment. The painting on the left featured a contorted man in a suit. After a little bit of googling around I’ve found that the artist is Robert Longo (born 1953), an American painter and sculptor.
It turns out his work from his 1980s “Men in the Cities” series is his most famous work. Check out the entire serious here.
